Project Development and Management

We will work with your Tribal Council and staff to plan a local behavioral health (BH) program, including writing the grant proposal for funding. If you are interested in having a community program that provides services and activities for your Youth or a program that targets specific BH needs. Reach out to us and see if we can find funding to start such a program.

Grant Compliance and Reporting

Once your Tribe/community is awarded a grant, and if you want to contract with us to manage your grant, we can work with your Tribe to complete and submit all of the reports and grant management tasks needed to keep the grant compliant and in good standing with the funding agency.

Behavioral Health

Our expertise is to work alongside your local staff to provide training and facilitate the training needs for local Behavioral Health Providers, this includes working alongside your region's Tribal Health Organization and plugging your staff into educational programs specific to the work you are doing, such as the Rural Human Services Program through the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Our goal is to see your local providers gain the skills necessary to provide competent and effective services for your people. RHS also provides the means for a person to go as far as they want to in their education, and it's even possible to work towards a bachelor's and master's degree, in their field of study, while working in your home community.

Technical Assistance

Technical Assistance, or "TA", is what we do. While we understand we are not in the community working directly with the people there, we have lived in rural Alaska for many years and know what it is like. So we aim to provide as much support as possible to assist your local BH staff and are always a text, phone call, or email away. Often we receive texts or calls late at night to help walk local providers through a challenging issue or situation, and we are glad to help facilitate in a time of crisis.
